Mi nombre completo es Miguel Saucedo López Olivera, soy el más chico de cuatro hermanos. Nací el 6 de diciembre en Montemorelos N.L México. A los 3 meses de edad mis padres se mudaron a Aguascalientes Ags. Ahí viví hasta los 15 años, desde chico mis padres motivaron en mi el gusto por la música. Estudié percusiones y piano en varias escuelas de Aguascalientes entre ellas el Instituto Manuel M. Ponce y el Instituto Yamaha.

La primera música que compuse fue cuando tenía 12 años y fue un instrumental de piano titulado ¨ Mi primer piano ¨, el cual está incluido en mi album Hecho en Casa. Me enviaron a estudiar la preparatoria a la Universidad Adventista de Montemorelos y ahí mismo decidí estudiar mi carrera. Durante mi estancia en la universidad estuve involucrado en varias agrupaciones musicales con estilos y géneros musicales variados, pero lo que más disfruté fue cantar música gospel acapella. Gradué de la facultad de Medicina el 2003 y ese mismo año escribí mi primera canción la que titulé ¨ Página más ¨ que fue el canto tema de la clase de graduandos. Ahí descubrí mi profundo gusto por escribir y hacer música que cumpla la obra que se nos fue encomendada. Sin tener ningún plan de realizar una producción discográfica continúe escribiendo.

Posteriormente años más tarde en pláticas con amigos y creativos de la música cristiana comenzamos a planear y llevar la música que durante años había estado solamente en mi piano y mi cuaderno de letras a un proyecto que pudiera ser compartido y escuchado, y pudiendo asi ser bendición para los demás. Fue así como nació “Hecho en Casa”. Actualmente curso mi cuarto año en Cirugía Digestiva y Endocrina en la Unidad de Alta Especialidad del IMSS de Monterrey N.L México y continúo haciendo música para Ameryca Music con la finalidad completar la obra de nuestro Dios en esta tierra.

Kiros has been a full time touring band based out of Western Canada since 2004. We’ve toured North America a lot with bands. Some of those bands are Emery, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Seventh Day Slumber, Decemberadio, The Audition, Hit the Lights, Every Avenue, Love Hate Hero, There for Tomorrow, Versa Emerge, Broadway, Blessed by a Broken Heart, Ivory Line, Secret and Whisper, Warped Tour, and we’ve played lots festivals.

We’ve been featured in magazines like H.M. and A.P. Our most recent CD, A Single Strand, has now sold over 12,000 copies. We are independent. We love our friends and our fans. They mean the world too us.

We love music, and we believe the best music carries a message. Our message is hope and love, because that is what we’ve been given by God. We work with World Vision to get poor kids sponsored. We know that along with our fans, we can make a real difference for those kids lives.

We just recorded a new 6 song CD with producer Mark Lee Townsend (Relient K, The Wedding, House of Heroes etc). It’s not out yet. But it will be someday soon.

Kevin Max is not a faker of art. After a long and successful career with group dctalk, he began his own musical odyssey with Stereotype Be, produced by Adrian Belew. Max brought together incomparable talents such as Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel) and Matt Chamberlin (Tori Amos, Fiona Apple) as well as Belew himself to create the ‘Alternative Pop, World Music’ masterpiece. iTunes praised the project as ‘warranting multiple listens’ and straying far from the expected pop formula that made dctalk a success. Since early 2000, Max has been adhering to the ‘road less traveled’ mentality.

After being dropped from his Christian music label (Forefront Records, label home to dctalk since 1989) he began to create independent projects through his own label ‘Blind Thief.’ Between the Fence and the Universe and Ravensongs 101  with Adrian Belew were released in early 2003 and were met with critical and alternative music praise. Max uprooted himself from Nashville and moved to Los Angeles, California, and began to write with such noted outsiders as Warren Cuccurullo of Missing Persons and Vandyke Parks. During a combination of performances at the world famous Viper Room club and a short stint at Off Broadway performances in The Technicolor Dreamcoat, he was approached by Northern Records to record his next full length album. Turning down an offer by John Kalodner of Sanctuary Records to become the new frontman for Journey, Max instead turned his talents to recording The Imposter.

The Imposter became a benchmark release for Northern Records and saw Max touring the project from the clubs of Sunset Strip to South America and Europe. Max soon became desperate for another musical shift and released the ‘blues gospel apparent’ The Blood, while moving back to his old hometown of East Nashville, Tennessee. Since returning to the clutches of Music City, he has released the EP Crashing Gates and is readying for release Cotes d’ Armor (true rebels), featuring production by UK electronic band Pop Will Eat Itself. For the past 2 years, Max has also been crafting a novel and graphic novel titled Fiefdom of Angels – a science fiction representation of the origin of angels.
