The Big News!

This year fans can vote for the winners of two categories at the Dove Awards. Organised by the Gospel Music Association (GMA), the Dove Awards are widely regarded as the most important award ceremony in Christian music. The nominees for the 41st Annual GMA Dove Awards were announced recently and now fans can vote for the ‘Artist of the Year’ and the ‘New Artist of the Year’.

The nominees for ‘Artist of the Year’ are: Casting Crowns, tobyMac, Mary Mary, Jars of Clay, Francesca Battistelli, Skillet and Jason Crabb

The nominees for ‘New Artist of the Year’ are: Kari Jobe, Crystal Aikin, Bluetree, Jonny Diaz, Revive, Sidewalk Prophets and Brian Courtney Wilson

Fans must vote via the GMC website before Tuesday 20th April, with the winners being announced at the awards ceremony held on Wednesday 21st April at Nashville’s famed Grand Ole Opry House, televised nationwide on the Gospel Music Channel (GMC) television network on Sunday 25th April.
