About:
If you think this Nashville power trio’s tunes stand out from the largely homogenized songs of Music City’s 21st century chart busters, it could be because Lady Antebellum write their own. Coming off like a Sugarland and Little Big Town hybrid, this self-titled debut abounds with hints of ’70s southern rock, catchy country pop, and towering vocal harmonies that showcase the seemingly Eddie Vedder-inspired inflections of Charles Kelley and the soulful singing of Nashville native Hillary Scott. Dexterous Dave Haywood completes the threesome with the multi-instrumentalist skills of someone who grew up playing more roadhouses and honky-tonks than hack-heavy studio sessions. Their first single “Love Don’t Live Here” grooves with a four-on-the-floor beat, but the more festive and fun loving “Lookin’ For A Good Time” gives a better sense of Kelley and Scott’s vocal prowess, both alone and together. It’s one of those inspired, catchy, country rockers that can be blasted on the home stereo while gearing up to hit the town for your very first Saturday night rebound after a mended heart. Conversely, those still heartbroken would do well listening to the hopeful “One Day You Will.”

Description:
Lady Antebellum (Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott), The critically acclaimed trio, co-wrote and produced songs together with veteran producer Paul Worley and some of Music Row’s most awarded songwriters. Need You Now,The leading single and title track to the groups Sophomore album is taking the country music world by storm, spending 5 consecutive weeks on the US Country singles charts. Lady Antebellum, Need You Now is sure to be an excellent addition to any country music fan’s collection.

About ‘Need You Now’:
“Overall, this album is country music at its absolute best. It’s modern and nostalgic at the same time. From a vocal standpoint, I don’t know if there is a group in any genre tighter than Lady A. Throw away all your preconceived notions about country music and give this one a try. You’ll be wearing a ten-gallon hat and cowboy boots in no time.”
